RABOND FLEX PLUS is a high-performance, cementitious tile adhesive with enhanced flexibility, superior adhesion, and extended workability, making it ideal for both interior and exterior applications. Classified as C2TE under UNI EN 12004, it offers improved slip resistance and extended open time, ensuring precision and ease of application, especially for large-format tiles.
Formulated with cement, graded sands, and specialized polymers and additives, RABOND FLEX PLUS provides exceptional bonding strength and elasticity, making it particularly suitable for very low-absorption single-fired tiles, marble, granite, natural stone, vitreous mosaics, and porcelain gres. Available in white and grey, RABOND FLEX PLUS ensures outstanding performance on both floors and walls, making it a versatile choice for demanding tiling projects.

Surface Preparation

The surface to be tiled must be completely sound and clean, dry and dust free. Any surface contaminants like grease, oil and efflorescence must be removed in order to promote adhesion.

 

Application

RABOND FLEX PLUS should be mixed with a mechanical paddle mixer on a low speed setting to achieve a smooth and lump free consistency. Mix in a clean bucket using approximately 7-8 litres of clean water per 25kg bag. Allow the mixture to stand for 5-6 minutes and then re-mix thoroughly before application. Use a notched trowel to apply the adhesive. Curing time is approximately 4-5 hours.

 

Recommendations

Do not use RABOND FLEX PLUS:

  • On surfaces that are wet.

  • When temperatures are below +5°C or above +35°C

  • With underfloor heating.

Packaging & Storage

RABOND FLEX PLUS is supplied in 25kg bags and can be stored up to 12 months in a cool dry place, in its original unopened packaging
