Rabond Flex Plus Professional Tile Adhesive

Brand: RA&Sons

RABOND FLEX PLUS TILE ADHESIVE is an internal/external standard set cement based flexible tile adhesive. It is specially formulated with extended workability for large wall and floor tiles made of ceramic, porcelain, marble, stone granite and vitreous mosaics. It has a C2TE classification and conforms to the European standard UNI EN 12004:2007. It is available in white or grey.

Surface Preparation

The surface to be tiled must be completely sound and clean, dry and dust free. Any surface contaminants like grease, oil and efflorescence must be removed in order to promote adhesion. Gypsum based boards must be primed first with RABINDER or RAPRIMER and allowed to dry for 8 hours.

Application

RABOND FLEX PLUS should be mixed with a mechanical paddle mixer on a low speed setting to achieve a smooth and lump free consistency. Mix in a clean bucket using approximately 7-8 litres of clean water per 25kg bag. Allow the mixture to stand for 5-6 minutes and then re-mix thoroughly before application. Use a notched trowel to apply the adhesive. Curing time is approximately 4-5 hours.

Recommendations

Do not use RABOND FLEX PLUS:

  • On surfaces that are wet.

  • When temperatures are below +5°C or above +35°C
  • With underfloor heating.
