Surface Preparation

Make sure the surface is free from detached parts, loose debris or non-adherent parts, coatings, rust, powder, disarming oils and carefully clean the surfaces, that must be sound and dry. Before application both fastness and efficiency of water run offs must be carefully checked.

This product can also be applied to slightly damp surfaces only in the absence of stagnant water

Application

Mix before use. Can be applied by roller, brush, spray, broom, spatula or metal squeegee. Normally the product is applied in two layers. On large surfaces, it is recommended to apply the first layer with a water dilution up to 10%. Apply the second coat right after the first fresh coat only if this has been reinforced, otherwise wait up to complete product drying time (24/48 hours) depending on the environmental conditions and the porosity of the substrate.
On surfaces larger than 10m² or stressed substrates, we recommend reinforcing Ralastigum ST with suitable polyester non-woven fabric reinforcement embedded in the first coat, while still fresh.
After use, clean the tools with water. If the product has dried up, remove it with warm water or white spirit.

Recommendations

Do not use RALASTIGUM ST:

• At temperatures below +5°C or above +35°C
• On surfaces subject to rising or strong water pressure
• Do not exceed the suggested average consumption for each coat, as water evaporation might remain trapped
