SILOXANE COVER is a premium render formulated to protect homes and buildings from the most adverse weather conditions. It is both breathable and UV resistant and repels water and dirt due to its unique formula. It can be used both externally and internally on a variety of substrates where durability is key. It is available in 25Kg tubs and it can be tinted into over 300 colours.
All surfaces should be sound, dust free and clear of any surface contaminants like oil, grease or salt efflorescence.
24 hours after SILOXANE PRIMER has been applied to the substrate SILOXANE COVER can be applied. Stir well before use. Using a steel trowel apply the medium cover (1.5mm) product to the wall, at the same time a second plastic trowel is used by a second plasterer to apply a finish coat to achieve the desired texture. Another technique for rougher surfaces is to apply 1 coat of medium or fine SILOXANE COVER and allow to cure for 24 hours. The next day apply a second coat and finish with either a plastic trowel or a sponge trowel depending on the finish required. During application protect windows, doors and all ceramic and metal parts. Clean all tools with water before the product dries.
