Beige
RASTA SPECULAR is a beige coloured breathable hydraulic lime render with a fine smooth finish. It is ideal for buildings of a historic nature or in conservation areas. It can be used both internally and externally to achieve a beautiful traditional finish.
All surfaces should be clean, dry and dust free. Any surface contaminants like grease, oil and efflorescence must be removed in order to promote adhesion.
RASTAW SPECULAR should be mixed with a mechanical paddle mixer to achieve a smooth and lump free consisitency. Mix in a clean bucket using approximately 8 litres of clean water per 20kg bag. Allow the mixture to stand for 5 minutes then re-mix thoroughly before application. Wet the substrate first to aid adhesion and apply with a metal or stainless steel trowel to a thickness of no more than 1mm, apply additional coats until a smooth finish is acquired.
