Brand: RA&Sons

RASOKOLL is a high-performance dual-purpose adhesive and render designed for thermal insulation systems. Its pre-mixed formulation of cement, sand, synthetic fibres and advanced additives provides strong adhesion, flexibility, and durability, making it suitable for both bonding insulation boards and acting as a protective render. Available in white or grey, RASOKOLL meets EN 1504-3 standards, ensuring reliable performance in thermal insulation applications.

Surface Preparation

All surfaces should be clean and free from dust, debris and surface contaminants like grease and oil. Apply a coat of either RAPRIMER or RABINDER based on the substrate to aid in adhesion and ensure proper curing time.

Mixing And Application

RASOKOLL can be mixed by hand or mechanically using a paddle mixer in a clean bucket with 6 to 7 liters of clean water per 25kg bag. Allow the mixture to stand for 5 minutes, then mix again before application. Always wear eye protection and a dust mask during mixing.

As an adhesive, apply RASOKOLL with a notched trowel at a rate of 4-5 kg/m², ensuring full coverage for proper adhesion. As a render, apply RASOKOLL with a rendering float at a thickness of 3-4 mm, then embed a fiber mesh into the fresh coat for reinforcement. Once the first coat has cured, apply a second 3-4 mm coat as a finishing layer to achieve a smooth and durable surface.

Recommendations

Do not apply RASOKOLL:

  • When temperatures are below +5°C and over +35°C
  • When the substrate is excessively wet or in very humid conditions
