Category:
Brand: RA&Sons

Racem is a premium dry premixed plaster, expertly crafted from cement, lime, selected inert materials, and unique additives to enhance both adhesion and application ease. It is designed to serve as a foundational plaster for both exterior and interior surfaces, making it perfect for traditional walls, cement blocks, stone, and more. For superior adhesion, resistance to acids and alkalis, water resistance, and improved workability, consider adding Ralatex according to the product’s guidelines.

Surface Preparation

All surfaces should be clean and free from dust, debris and surface contaminants like grease and oil. Apply a coat of either RAPRIMER or RABINDER based on the substrate to aid in adhesion and ensure proper curing time.

Mixing And Application

RACEM can be mixed by hand or mechanically with a paddle mixer in a clean bucket using 5.5 to 6 litres of clean water per 25kg bag. Always wear eye protection and dust masks during mixing.
Apply RACEM by hand or spray machine to a minimum thickness of 10mm and level off. While still in the drying stage, it is advised to scratch the surface with the proper tools to prepare the surface for the application of tiling or other finishing products.
