RABOND FLEX is a high-performance, cementitious tile adhesive with enhanced flexibility and superior slip resistance, making it ideal for both interior and exterior applications. Classified as C2T under UNI EN 12004, it offers improved adhesion strength and reduced vertical slip, ensuring secure and long-lasting tile installation.
Formulated with cement, graded sands, and specialized polymers and additives, RABOND FLEX is particularly suited for low-absorption single-fired tiles, marble, granite, natural stone, and porcelain gres. It is available in white and grey to match various tiling applications. RABOND FLEX provides reliable performance on both walls and floors, delivering exceptional stability in demanding environments.
Surface Preparation
The surface to be tiled must be completely sound and clean, dry and dust free. Any surface contaminants like grease, oil and efflorescence must be removed in order to promote adhesion.
Application
RABOND FLEX should be mixed with a mechanical paddle mixer on a low speed setting to achieve a smooth and lump free consistency. Mix in a clean bucket using approximately 7-8 litres of clean water per 25Kg bag. Allow the mixture to stand for 5-6 minutes and then remix thoroughly before application. Use a notched trowel to apply the adhesive. Curing time is approximately 4-5 hours.
