Pink with a Purpose – Standing Behind the Pink October Movement
October brings with it a powerful reminder that awareness saves lives. At RA & Sons Manufacturing Ltd, the ladies of our team have embraced the Pink October Movement with open hearts, showing their solidarity with women everywhere who have been touched by breast cancer.
In true “Pink with a Purpose” spirit, our team gathered together to celebrate strength, compassion, and unity — not just in colour, but in commitment. Pink has long been recognised as the symbol of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, representing hope, resilience, and the collective fight against a disease that affects so many. For our staff, it’s more than just a ribbon. It’s about raising their voices, standing shoulder to shoulder, and recognising the importance of awareness and prevention.
The team is now looking forward to the Wellness Woman Talk on 24th October 2025, an event designed exclusively for our female staff. This special session will provide space for learning, reflection, and discussion about health and wellbeing — a chance to highlight the importance of prevention, early detection, and self-care.
The Wellness Woman Talk is more than just a company initiative. It reflects our wider mission: to create a supportive workplace culture that values health and empowers women to prioritise their wellbeing. From 2026 onwards, this event will extend beyond our team to welcome anyone from the community who wishes to join, further amplifying its impact.
This initiative ties directly into our ongoing support of Europa Donna Malta, an organisation that continues to provide education, support, and advocacy for breast cancer awareness. Their work ensures that no one has to walk the path alone — and we’re proud to align our efforts with the 2025 Calendar and their mission.
As part of this commitment, RA & Sons will be donating a percentage of sales throughout October from our Iris and Dahlia products directly to Europa Donna Malta. Every purchase not only celebrates craftsmanship but also contributes to a cause that makes a real difference in our community.
As October unfolds, our ladies remind us that awareness begins in small, meaningful steps: wearing pink, starting conversations, and supporting each other. Each gesture matters, and together they form a wave of solidarity that reaches far beyond our walls.
