Friday 30 January 2026 marked a significant and memorable day for R.A. & Sons Manufacturing Ltd, as we had the honour of welcoming the Prime Minister of Malta, Robert Abela, together with the Minister for Gozo, Clint Camilleri, to our manufacturing depot.
Visits like these matter. Not just because of the office held, but because they recognise the role that local industry plays in Malta’s economy, employment, and long-term development. For our team, it was a moment of genuine pride.
During the visit, the Prime Minister and Minister Camilleri were taken through both of our batching plants and our paint department. These are the operational heart of our business, where raw materials, expertise, and process discipline come together to produce the bricks, paints, and bagged products relied upon across Malta and Gozo.
Our directors, Raymond Attard and Aleandro Attard, shared the story of the company’s growth, explaining how each division operates and how R.A. & Sons has evolved while remaining firmly rooted in Gozo. It was an opportunity to show, first-hand, the scale of investment, planning, and technical knowledge that underpin what we do every day.
One of the most appreciated moments of the visit was the Prime Minister’s address to our staff. Taking time to speak directly to the people on the ground, he acknowledged their work, commitment, and contribution. For many of our team members, it was a rare and meaningful recognition of the effort that goes into keeping manufacturing standards high, day in and day out.
Moments like these resonate well beyond the visit itself. They reinforce the value of skilled work, teamwork, and long-term commitment to quality.
